  • 19 years’ experience in accounting, finance, management and HR
  • Successfully founded, grew and sold multi-location foodservice company
  • Integral role in long-range planning and finance initiatives

Plant the seed, nurture it and watch it grow into something spectacular. Growing up on a farm near Ellsworth, Kansas, Vernon Dolezal witnessed this process thousands of times. Today, Vernon’s harvest is bountiful: focused on his wife and four children, a small crop of tomatoes and cucumbers, and the financial progress of High Touch. After graduating from Kansas State University with an accounting degree, Vernon founded a restaurant venture, working 80 hours a week to ensure business success. He eventually sold the business after growing it to seven locations. Vernon has taken an owner’s mentality into every position since, looking at the strategic picture and treating any monies of which he is steward as if it were his own.

Vernon’s varied entrepreneurial roles have prepared him to direct High Touch’s financial initiatives. His years of experience include corporate finance positions for companies large and small, local and international. He values the nimble nature of a company the size of High Touch but appreciates the structure and policies essential for growth.

As High Touch CFO, Vernon’s cultivation efforts include long range fiscal planning, stewarding the company’s financial resources and overseeing human resources.

In Vernon’s eyes, High Touch’s potential is limitless. Strong roots give Vernon the foundation to help High Touch grow more profitable while continuing to provide customers the tools needed to successfully grow their own crop.
