In an industry like technology, adaptability is essential. Fortunately, adaptability is a special gift of John Rogers, a guy who earned his Bachelor’s in Biology and Masters in Public Administration from Wichita State University. John took a job in health care management and soon discovered firsthand how technology can help or hinder a business. Four years into his first job, John made an epic career switch, landing his first technology job: Selling integrated voice data systems at IBM, the world’s largest computer company. In his decade with the multinational technology giant, John lived on the leading edge of technology during a time of explosive progress. He also lived in four cities, and soon an opportunity at High Touch brought him back to Wichita.

John’s background in technology sales proved an ideal fit for High Touch. A self-proclaimed workaholic, John immersed himself in the company. His ability to nurture relationships helped High Touch achieve stature within key client industries. To keep ahead of industry changes that affected his clients, John served on the boards of several trade organizations, becoming an extension of their staffs.

Since joining the company in 1995, John’s role has evolved with High Touch. He now leads sales efforts for all sectors, shifting his focus from developing out-of-market clients to growing business closer to home. Ensuring competitiveness of High Touch’s newest sectors – Managed Services and Web Development – is John’s primary focus.

Conducting business with integrity and honesty are non-negotiables for John. He works to instill social, cultural and business responsibility in his sales force. As his team cultivates new business, John believes those ethics will continue to position High Touch as the premier technology partner.
