Web Site Blocking

SonicWALL devices use list-based or URL-based filters to identify and block web sites defined by businesses. Solutions rely either on white lists that allow access to only those sites that appear on the lists, or black lists that block sites based on defined categories. Network administrators can manage the database of blocked sites by updating the list frequently and organizing the sites by defining categories.
